Our approach focuses on building strength, balance, and aerobic capacity, particularly core strength development.

We firmly believe that our approach enables individuals to engage in their daily activities more effectively and with increased longevity.  Our group fitness and wellness classes provide safe and engaging exercises designed to bolster physical fitness and mental and emotional health, ensuring every participant experiences the joy and vitality of an active lifestyle.

SENIOR

Senior functional fitness is critical for everyday tasks, such as loading the dishwasher, walking the dog, dusting the furniture, taking out the garbage, or simply avoiding falls.  But these tasks become more challenging as we age, resulting in knee and back pain, especially if we’re not exercising.

That’s why at Anew Fitness, we believe so strongly in Movement as Medicine.  The best remedy for the pain and to increase functionality is a movement-based fitness routine that targets and effectively strengthens the body in a safe and fun way.  Movement is medicine, and that’s the key to aging gracefully!

Strength

Strength and resistance training involves performing exercises designed to improve strength and endurance.

Balance

Falls are the number one cause of injuries for seniors. Balance training strengthens the muscles that help keep you upright, including your legs and core, resulting in increased stability and preventing falls.

Aerobic

Aerobic training strengthens the heart and lungs and improves muscle function.
