About Us
A Word From Our CEO
Access to daily physical activity is essential for seniors to maintain good health and prevent isolation, body aches, and premature death. Unfortunately, financial constraints or limited access to fitness programs can make it challenging for many seniors to stay active.
At Anew Fitness, we understand this issue and are committed to addressing it. We have partnered with senior living communities to provide fitness classes directly at their premises. Our aim is to make fitness programs more accessible to seniors and help them maintain their physical and mental well-being.
I was motivated to establish Anew Fitness after witnessing the positive change in my mother's life. She had gone through a life-altering event, which made life unbearable for her. As a low-income individual, she only received 90 days of physical therapy from Medicare/Medicaid, which was not enough for someone who had experienced such a significant event.
As a certified personal trainer, I bought a resistance band and trained her at home. This simple act greatly impacted her will to live and overall health. Over six months, I noticed a significant change in her, which sparked the idea of helping seniors who could benefit from a fitness program.
Our program is intended to combat seniors' loneliness and isolation. We provide group fitness classes in a supportive and inclusive environment, where seniors can connect with others on a similar health journey. This social interaction is essential in combating seniors' loneliness and isolation.
