
Requirements
1. Holds certification as a Group Instructor or Personal Trainer
2. Current CPR certification
3. High school diploma
4. Possesses outstanding communication abilities
5. Has access to personal transportation.
6. Ability to work flexible hours.
7. Demonstrates strong time management and organizational skills
8. Knowledge of chronic diseases and issues about older adults preferred.
9. Knowledge of senior fitness and experience working with older adults is preferred
10. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer (Required)
11. Minimum of 1 year of experience in group fitness (Preferred)
12. Familiarity with chronic diseases, special needs, and issues related to older adults (Preferred).
13. Line Dance Experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities
1. Facilitating group senior fitness classes and Monitoring participants during workouts to ensure safety, proper form, and progress
2. Ensuring fitness programs are efficient, secure, and enjoyable. Provide guidance and motivation to help individuals reach their fitness objectives
3. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
4. Proficient in using technology like scheduling apps is preferred.
5. Preparing necessary equipment, music, and handouts for each class.
6. Provide seniors with various classes and programs, including but not limited to strength training, aerobics, walking, and stretching. Adhering to programs and creating, executing, directing, and inspiring individuals in fitness-related activities.
7. Structuring and instructing a variety of Senior Fitness classes. Contributing to the development and implementation of fitness plans.
